About Green Street Studios

 

Green Street Studios  was founded in 1994 by Rob King. A private boutique sound studio located in Sherman Oaks CA, just over the hill from Hollywood, Green Street Studios has expanded to a full service audio production facility. We have provided audio content for game developers, record companies, ad agencies, corporate kiosks, Internet web development, television, marketing firms and multimedia developers. We have all the latest in high definition digital recording & editing equipment as well as a huge vintage mic collection. Based in Sherman Oaks, CA and we also have a partner “Sister” Studio in central London (Side Studios) to help provide our clients with the top talent in voice over anywhere in the world for the past 10 years. No project is too big or small for our facilities.

 

About Rob King

 

Rob is a 20 year veteran of audio for Games and Music and has worked on over 115 Video Games during his career including award winning titles like James Bond: Quantum of Solace, Fable 2 & 3, Scarface, Heroes of Might & Magic Series, Age of Conan, All Points Bulletin, Dirt 2, Never Winter Nights 2: The Storm of Zehir, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Call of Duty 3 (PSP), the Everquest Series, and the new MMORPG RIFT: Planes of Telara.  Rob began his career in game development starting as the "Sound Guy" which led to being the Audio Director at a software developer called New World Computing between 1994-2001. Prior to his game experience he spent most of the late 80's to mid 90's writing pop and rock music and doing album production. Diversifying his duties between Audio Director, Senior Sound Designer, Dialogue Director, Re-recording Mixer, Composer/Producer and Recording & Mix Engineer, Rob has also worked on TV Trailers for the films I am Legend, Watchmen, We are Marshall and Clash of the Titans (2010) as well as many independent films & records throughout the years.
